The Process

How a consultation works

A straightforward, four-step process — from initial enquiry to a clear, written summary of recommendations.

I

Initial enquiry

Get in touch via WhatsApp, the contact form, or book directly through the calendar. Briefly describe your property and what you are hoping to understand.

II

Share your space

You send your floor plan (even a rough sketch), photographs, the property's compass orientation, and any specific concerns or areas of focus.

III

Consultation session

We meet online via video call or, for London clients, on-site. The session covers directional analysis, room usage, layout suggestions, and any questions you have.

IV

Written summary

Following the session, you receive a clear written summary of the key recommendations — something concrete to refer back to as you make decisions.

What's Included

What you receive

Each consultation is personal, focused, and includes a set of clear, practical outputs.

Personal consultation session

A focused video or in-person session — unhurried, conversational, and specific to your property and situation.

Directional & layout analysis

Assessment of your property's orientation, entry points, and how the layout aligns with the eight vastu directions.

Written recommendations

A clear, practical written summary of the key findings and suggested actions — sent after the session for your reference.

Room-by-room guidance

Specific suggestions for each room — bedroom, kitchen, living space, home office — with practical, actionable placement advice.

Priority actions highlighted

Not everything needs to change. I will be clear about what matters most and what can be addressed gradually or left as-is.

Follow-up window

A short follow-up period for clarifying questions about the recommendations — so you feel confident in what to do next.

About Shaily

Architect by Education,
Vastu Consultant by Passion

My graduation in Architecture has given me a deep understanding of space, design, and planning — how a building breathes, how light moves through rooms, and how the arrangement of a floor plan shapes the way people feel inside it. This foundation is what first drew me to Vastu Shastra, and it is what makes my approach distinctly practical.

Rather than treating vastu as a set of rules to follow blindly, I use it as a thoughtful layer alongside spatial logic — exploring how the ancient wisdom of directions, zones, and proportions can be applied meaningfully to modern homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

Professional vastu guidance for homes, offices, and commercial projects — rooted in architecture, delivered with clarity.

Design with Purpose. Live with Harmony.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian system of architecture and spatial arrangement. It considers the orientation, layout, and design of a space in relation to natural forces, directions, and the elements — with the aim of creating environments that feel balanced, functional, and harmonious. Many of its principles overlap with other spatial traditions, including elements of feng shui and environmental psychology.
Not at all. Vastu principles are grounded in spatial logic, natural orientation, light, airflow, and directional awareness. Many clients come from diverse backgrounds and find the framework useful as one thoughtful lens for property decisions — regardless of cultural or religious background.
Yes. A significant part of vastu guidance focuses on furniture arrangement, room usage, storage placement, and working with what you have — none of which require structural changes or landlord permission. Renters often find consultations just as useful as buyers.
Most consultations run between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the size and complexity of the property. The written summary is typically shared within a few days of the session.
Yes. Online consultations are available for clients anywhere in the world. You share your floor plan, photographs, and compass orientation in advance, and we conduct the session over video call. Online and on-site sessions are comparably thorough.
A floor plan or rough sketch of the property, photographs of each room (if online), the property's compass orientation (which direction the main entrance faces), and a list of any specific concerns or areas you would like to focus on. I will send a simple checklist once you book.
Yes. A pre-purchase vastu review is one of the most useful applications — reviewing the orientation, entry placement, layout, and any potential considerations before you commit. Even a brief assessment can inform your decision meaningfully.
On-site consultations are available across London and Greater London. For locations outside Greater London, please get in touch to discuss — a travel fee may apply for more distant locations.
